It’s time to clean up your act and your air is a good place to start. From smokers blowing garbage into the air around your place to natural allergens, dander, and pollen, air purifiers are a great answer to the many agents trying to make you sneeze. And while working from home, air purifiers have only become more important. With less access to fresh air, you want to make sure you’re breathing clean air as much as you can. So we compiled some of the best-selling and most versatile purifiers.
Levoit Home Air Purifier
Scouted Editor Jillian Lucas argues “this air purifier will give you the breath of fresh air you may need right now.” It is fairly small, making it great for bedrooms, offices, and even dorms. It’s extremely quiet so it won’t disturb your sleep. Plus, it has a nightlight.
Pure Cool Me Personal Purifying Fan
Perfect for your desk, nightstand, or kitchen counter, this is Dyson’s answer to purifiers. A HEPA filter helps reduce virtually all allergens and Dyson’s airflow tech then spits out clean, springy air. It’s also a favorite of Scouted contributor Rachel Krantz.
Dyson Pure Humidify + Cool
This all-in-one machine is a great way to save space and upgrade your air quality in my opinion. Not only is it a top notch air purifier that you can tuck in the corner, it also serves as a top-of-the-line humidifier for the winter months, and as an excellent cooling fan for warmer ones. You can control it on your phone, too.
IQAir Atem Desk Personal Air Purifier
If you’re looking for a great air purifier while working from home, Scouted Contributor Steven John recommends this one. He writes, “it’s about as large as a frisbee,” and works to keep his workspace or bedroom much cleaner. It even works in your car apparently.
Coway Airmega 300M
Scouted Contributor Gideon Grudo writes “this air purifier is really easy to use, and is effective as hell.” It has automatic sensing technology, a timer, and an eco-mode. Not only will this make your air quality that much better, it’s a really good looking machine that won’t look out of place at all.
Blue Air Healthprotect 7770i
Scouted Contributor Steven John says this air purifier is the most advanced he’s tried, but is well worth it. It is extremely effective and efficient in cleaning air through every test Steven has put it through, and he loves how you can see via an app how well it’s doing. He says it is not cheap, but “it’s proven to remove 99.7% of particles like dust, dander, smoke, pollen, and more, and is therefore, money well spent.”
Bissell air 320 Air Purifier
Scouted Contributor Wendy Rose Gould loves how this hi-tech air purifier fits in with her decor (a very important thing, after all!). She says it is quiet, has a great aesthetic, and offers real-time air quality feedback via a number display on the front. She writes, “The bottom line is this: if you’re seeking a high-quality air purifier that looks great, actually works, and isn’t going to give you a headache trying to figure it out, this product is definitely the way to go.”
